Meet Debbie Cotton!

Hello Decorative Painters, I consider myself to be one of those fortunate people that truly enjoy their job! My love for art started as a young girl and I majored in art through high school. As an extra job in my teenage years, I painted large seasonal designs on restaurant windows. I have been teaching decorative painting for 11 years, designing my original pattern packets for approximately 2 1/2 years and opened my own business "Simply Cotton" 1 1/2 years ago which includes a home studio and travel teaching. Recently I have had one of my designs shown in "Paint Works Quick & Easy" and soon they will be featuring more. Every artist has their own wonderful style and techniques to offer. As you will see from viewing my designs, I enjoy antiques and rustic country decor. I am inspired by my husband, 2 boys and our Century Farm home in Nestleton, Ontario.
